Okay, my 255 RT660s got here the other day, I had a couple mounted to start checking clearances and figuring out the fitment.
So the lip of the tire sticks out 3mm past the lip of the wheel. But it isn't right next to the wheel lip, so you do get a little more clearance due to the angle of the strut.
I did not swap springs yet, wanted to see what it would take to fit the wheels as-is. I have a bunch of spacers so, for fitment check only, I stacked spacers to check clearances.
With 17mm of spacer, the tire clears the spring perch by less than 1mm. Tire clears the strut body by 6mm according to the stack of feeler gauge I was able to fit in there.
Outside of the tire is very flush with the fender. I did not drive the car, just lowered it to the ground and rolled back and forth to settle the suspension.
My plan is to go to a 6" spring and run a 15mm spacer.
The rear fit with no issue.
