Mines never been that bad.
I really don't like frame-less doors like ours. I had in both my previous frame-less coupes. Seems much easier for greater amounts of water to get in there carrying dirt and grime there in with them, and then leaks out the bottom.
I had forgotten how much I had this setup until I got my 135i, and was annoyingly reminded.
Maybe the drain hole/s need to be made bigger to drain quicker. You wash and dry your car, but the drain doesn't do it's thing until the car is moved/driven, then it starts to drain and uglify what was once beeootyful
