If it comes in around $55k it will be really hard for me not to buy one when it's time to move to something different. I was really considering a used X5 M when the time came, but an M1 will be way too tempting. I think BMW will make it work. I don't know that it will be a high volume car, but it might take some sales from the 3 series.
