Interesting. I will need to look around for a better solution. In the spirit of full disclosure: TurnInConcepts http://turninconcepts.com (the shop that installed my BMW Performance Suspension) did the alignment at 5K miles, and they did bias the settings towards handling rather than tire wear. However, when checked by the dealer at 8.5K, they found it was still well within factory specs, so it's not as if they got carried away.
