Interesting, two 1M reservoirs. Does the secondary reservoir have a fluid pickup that extends to the bottom of the reservoir and, if so, how can you guarantee that it will pickup the fluid to return to the primary reservoir? Otherwise, how does it return the fluid to the primary reservoir? What happens with the outlet on the bottom of the secondary reservoir - is it blocked off or routed somewhere?

Here's an example of the M3 reservoir with an overflow (BMW F650GS motorcycle rear brake fluid reservoir).
Notice how the PS overflow is routed into the bottom of the motorcycle reservoir, which means that the fluid just flows from back down into the PS reservoir when the pressure subsides.
I'm thinking the bottom of the overflow reservoir should be mounted higher than the top of the PS reservoir so the fluid is gravity-fed back to the PS reservoir.

Notice the logo on the cap? Yup, Brembo!

Also notice the nipple on the cap is angled so it fits perfectly bolted to the ground bolt thingy on the side of the engine bay without bending the line.

I used a little under 2 feet of line just so I can unscrew/screw the cap without disconnecting anything.

I'll find out next weekend if this setup works as expected.

Aus: the bolt I just found in my box of misc random hardware. Any bmw bolt with a 10mm head should work provided it's not too long.
