I've heard a TON of conflicting opinions on this, yet i keep seeing them on pro-level cars. My thought on them is they can't hurt anything so why not run one to be safe?

Thanks for the info! That's great to hear that this is without a catch-can, I'd still like to see a car with one to compare but it's nice to see the valves were pretty clean on a stock setup.
