Sorry to revive an old thread but out of curiosity what year is your 1er? I have a April build 09 and the cable you linked says it only works up too 2008 bmws. Wondering if you have an 08 or 09+. Not trying to spent $100 on a BMW INPA / Ediabas K+DCAN when a lot of people are using the cable you linked below for less than $25 shipped . Please let me know if you think it'll work for my car .
