Hello fellow 1addicts. I'm taking the Amtrak train from Lorton, VA down to Sanford, FL (would rather drive, not my idea). From Sanford I was planning to head east to Cape Canaveral then south to A1A to Miami hopefully in a single day. Spend a day in Miami then head down to the keys.

Can anyone recommend some beautiful driving roads, things to stop and do/see on the way and any helpful tips for a non-local would be appreciated including safe places to board/stay at overnight. Thank you!
