Wow--great review--nice comparos too. Many have wondered if the 1M is a newer version of the E46 M3, so to hear your thoughts on that is great.
You will have a great time at the Tail of the Dragon...went there with my dad in my 135 and his Z4MC...I couldn't keep up with him in the 135...
The thing I loved most about his Z4MC was the sound...and feeling...of the entire experience. When you revved that baby out, you could feel it thoughout your whole body...8000 RPM in the S54 is really hard to beat...always made me a little sad to get back in my 135.
You have to be the first 1M in the US--I haven't seen any deliveries outside of the EU--you are one lucky dude. Congrats!
