Time to start thinking about new shoes!

I have read through many of the 1M tire threads and it has proven to be very useful. I did however have 1 question as it relates to the aspect ratio. Why would you choose a 255/35/19 over a 265/30/19 in front. It was my impression that you should try to fit the largest tires possible. I continually read people running into rubbing issues on 265/35/19 and automatically went to 255’s with only a couple comments of the 265/30. My point being, if it’s best to have the widest possible, why is the 265/30 not more highly recommended?

My current thought is to go 265/30/19 and either 285 or 295/30/19 out back. Keep in mind, I’m very new so mild characteristics presented by different tires likely won’t be very noticeable to me yet. Love the wide tire look, especially on the 1M, so if maximizing this aesthetically also makes sense performance wise, I don’t mind spending the little bit extra even if I won’t really be able to take advantage of it.
