oils get black as soon as you turn the ignition on after the change.and the reason is that they gather all the trush from your engine..thats why they get black and its good for your engine..you should worry if they dont ,then there is something wrong with your oils.
i also change oils no more than 7-8000 km or 6 months whatever comes first..you do well
