I'm sure the 1M is a wonderful daily driver and track car, but autox is something different. Getting offended won't change that.
ANY turbo car that cuts boost when you apply the brakes is at a HUGE DISADVANTAGE in autox. Don't take my word for it. Prep one and I'll be happy to show you how much slower than some of the other STU cars, including an E36 M3, it really is. If you can find a way to change the "but boost" issue things would be different.
