So I said "I'm not meaning it like my work is giving us permission to do anything, all I'm saying is that I'm glad it's given me the opportunity to go out with friends and not have to worry".
She insisted that I said it like it gave her "permission" to go out and do things with me, when that wasn't the case at all.
Am I bad with words...., because to me I thought what I said was perfectly normal. Things don't bother me, but I'm pretty confused right now.

i don't know about you or your friends *jibber-jabberer but i do know this:
some women will think you mean something based on the words you use when really you just mean what you said.
guy: i'm going to do
this (
this can be anything).
girl: what do you mean by that?
guy: i mean exactly what i said, i'm going to do
this.
girl. no, it means you're going to do
this!
they try to decode what we're saying when there's nothing to decode. we try to figure out what they want to get from decoding our non-existent code so we can give them the correct code. <-- that's not code. it is what it is.
