So much authority! Easier to brake late with minimal pedal effort, and easier to heel toe as a result.
The night before was cold and we got freezing fog, which coated every exposed metal surface, and probably spared the rotor face under the pads. I think that wrecked my proper bed-in effort, so I had vibration on hard braking right from the start. It actually got better as the day went on and was just enough to be noticeable in the steering wheel.
The good news is that the "Club Race" pads don't make any noise in street use, so I am going to keep them on the car and drive them on the street occasionally and do another proper bed in procedure before the next track day.
