That's what I'm running now and it's a very nice sound. You still get the pops and gurgles - it's the catback that does that, not the res delete.

No, I did not try it with my N55 mids. I reinstalled the N54 mids(with cats) and cut off the resonator - using the PE's y-pipe. My car never popped and crackled like it does now. I feel that most of that is due to the y-pipe resonator delete.
