Would BMW still need to be concerned with the emissions concerns with a turbo E46 M3 engine?

Also, it seems BMW may be heading a different direction. I am certain I read the next M3 is suppose to employ the TT 6 formula while the 1 will be going to a 4cylinder setup. If so, a TT 4 for the M1 would make sense.

Now, if BMW plans to drop a M1 with the E82, I agree as listed earlier, increase HP to 350, reduce weight to 3100 at most, and remove the moon roof (US Markets..), run flats delete, and quad exhaust.

Let their be light: M1.
