Thanks for the pic! I think this might be the way to go. Just so much cheaper than a dedicated muffler. And honestly, the only other option I'd consider that is quieter than my BMW PE is the Supersprint muffler at nearly $1200. And Borla has a great reputation for quality and an "OEM+" sound. Will update this thread with install pics and impressions if/when it happens.
