I’ve been reminded of a e82 coupe from a member who runs 17x8.5 et40 sq 225/45r17. That’s a full inch, So I don’t need to calc the difference to know et43 would work. I’d not go over et44 as et45 pushes it but would work.

Here in the states e88 standard rim is 16x7 et44 205/55r16 sq. With options for staggered Sport pkg.

The oem tire from Goodyear had oval shaped sidewalls and the Michelin have square shoulders and straight sidewalls. So even tho the size is bigger I’m certain a square shoulder tire odds of rubing suspension side is actually lower.
