Looking forward, sure. But both M Coupes and the E36 M3 has better steering feel. I'm in my 40's, which might explain why I feel the best M Car should at least have individual throttle bodies and an 8k+ redline. Either S54 M Coupe for me. |
IMO The greatest M car must be a 4 seat coupe or a 4 door sedan. The whole point of an M car is to be as great and practical as can be. I love the Z coupes as much as anyone but to me the 1M hits the absolute sweet spot. I don't think either Z M coupe is all around enough to take home that prize.
The 1M has the madness and uniqueness of the 2002 Turbo, the dimensions closer to an E30 M3, and the suspension geometry of a modern M car.
