I'm looking for some help from those running 18x8.5 squared setups.
TIRE SIZES HELP!
I recently purchased a 135i that came with M6 replicas. They look great but the rim lips aren’t flush with the tires. I’m trying to decide on my next set size.
100% I’m going with Michelin PSS.
Currently
Fender Work:
Rolled front fenders
Wheels:
18x8.5 ET38 all round
Tires:
Front 215/40/18 (stock and way too much lip poke)
Rear 245/35/18 (Stock and fits fine)
Suspension:
Stock
Camber:
Stock
Rubbing:
ZERO RUBBING
Option 1 (safe bet)
Front 225/40/18
Rear 245/35/18
Option 2 (slightly more wide in the front)
Front 235/40/18
Rear 245/35/18
Option 3 (makes me nervous to try but I want this to work!)
Front 235/40/18
Rear 255/35/18
Any insight you have is much appreciated! I really don't want any setup that rubs. The offsets are a bit aggressive in the poke department but they look very mean. the rims seem to be just inside the wheel wells on all four. Pics coming when I have some good ones to show.
