I don't skimp on safety-related equipment (floor jacks, jack stands, etc.) and I invest in important tools like torque wrenches, sockets, etc. But fluid transfer is pretty simple and, unless you're doing it on a daily basis, it just doesn't require a major investment.

And I'd rather spend money on track tires and brake pads!
