$40000 car. People put $100 tires on it. I will never understand, I put $1000 worth of rubber on my 13 year old Mountaineer (a car thats currently worth 4-5K)
Tires are the only part of your car that actually touches the ground. Last thing im ever gonna do is cheap out on them.
BTDubs, the LTXs on my Merc are amazing A/S tires. Those tires are unbeatable in the snow, although I think that might be a function of the car and not so much the tires.
