Injector model versions I've had fail -05, -07 and a -10 from memory. Each time I've replaced all 3 in the bank which you're suppose to and I did them myself so I was just looking at about $200-300 USD each back then.

For one that'd that'd be under $300 USD / ~ $470 AUD delivered + labour + programming ecu for the new values. I'd hate to know what the local cost of a single injector is over here, or did your mechanic say the $1k was just for the injector? |
turns out it was just the injector 6 causing the issue
scored 6 from a friend who upgraded to index 12 for $400
replaced and coded and all was well
