Perhaps a wider rear tire reduces bumps? Right now my car eats bumps. That’s not the suspension right?

first of all: you've posted this in the 1M forum.
second of all: throw away your all season tires and get some proper winter/snow tires. the all seasons are useless for any self respecting RWD car on the east coast. also 225 tires on the rear are way too skinny for a 135i. On snow/winter tires it might work but all seasons? psshh!
