you might have better luck on the 1 series forum. This is is the 1M forum and the tires are bigger on the 1M.
You will also need to list offset as that would impact the tire size possible too. The best resource I have seen in APEX. This is a good resource for you:

You can also look at tire rack and in the SPECs for any tire you are interested, they list the wheel width range for each tire.
With that said, 18x10.5 is big even on 1M which has wide fenders so I hope you have a widebody kit. I think those are too wide for a stock 135i.
