I haven't posted in a while but I read occasionally since selling both of my 1M's. I drove 1Ms on the track and loved the car, truly an amazing all around car. Personally I thought the M2 would have delivered more of a hit to the resale of the 1Ms which remained high at the time. However after driving the M2 on the track I was just simply not a fan of the car. To me it was not a better car than the 1M.

The M2 Comp on the other hand appears to be everything the M2 should have been from the start. The details of the M2 comp with a better motor (never an N55 fan), seats, and lots of suspension/braking upgrades. I already am on a deposit list for the car.

1M will always be special for a variety of reasons, but this M2 comp appears it will be a better all around car and I wouldn't be shocked if people traded 1Ms for them and impacted the resale of both 1Ms and M2s. Only time will tell but that's just my opinion.
