Don’t disagree with that and with the utmost respect for anyone who has passed away, the amount of Covid we have here is negligible!

With appropriate testing and isolation the event could have quite easily have gone ahead.

As I said in my original post, the Australian Open is going ahead in three weeks time. I’m not a tennis fan but I would guess more spectators would attend that event the the GP and I know damn well there are a lot more competitors in the tennis.

I find it strange?

Edit- attendance for the 2019 F1 was 324,000 with the attendance at the 2020 tennis being 812,000!

There are roughly 1300 competitors for the tennis compared to 20 drivers. I would imagine the pit crews outnumber the entourage of the tennis players but have no idea?
