I'm mostly talking out my ass but I don't think anyone is trying to turbo charge the N52 so the Valvetronic issue might be negated. That being said, c'mon, just get a 135i if you want an inline six turbo charged (..and I hate to be that guy).

Supercharging theoretically seems to be a great start, even step. As the revs climb, so does the power, and it wouldn't nuke itself in torque. Yet no one really knows how well the N52 hold's up under boost except for the tuner's who've tried (I'm looking at you ARMA, MMW) and they have all but scrapped their projects for *probably* reliability issues. I'm convinced its just a hot mess, and even if they eventually build a supercharger kit, I'm leaving mine N/A.

What people SHOULD be talking about:
S54, S65, or LSx swaps
