Those things use an extreme amount of electricity. And are heavy. Though not as heavy as my DLP, I think I'm going to have to cut it in half to get it downstairs when the time comes.

My only other real reference points are old tube TVs and a couple of smaller LCDs so they still seem great to me. I try not to keep up with the newer stuff although I know there have been some significant technology shifts.
