Painting stock 135i brembo calipers!

For anyone who is interested:

Over the last few days I've been doing a lot of work on my 135i, one particular job was to grind down the rear caliper to make my 16" rear wheels fit (for a rear drag setup - that'll be another story) and needed to paint/seal the bare aluminum. So I took this opportunity to paint the calipers red with the G2 caliper paint kit. Prep work consisted of wiping them clean, using the provided cleaner, wiping them again and making sure to get all the crevices - but I didnt use any abrasives. There was a lot of caked on brake dust lol. I also put some ebay ///M caliper stickers on them I'm sure I'll get lots of heat for that but I don't care and think they look sweet. The finish isn't perfect but that's what you get with a brush on kit and a short period of time to apply it. I also wish the color was maybe a tad darker.

When I get the brakes rebuilt I'll have them properly powder-coated but until then it looks good to me! Also don't mind all the rust, pretty typical for where I live in Canada.
