M3, I agree with what you said, however you left out the bit re extra audible pleasure that you get along with the other so called benefits, including a weight reduction (I could really afford to loose a few, maybe lots, of pounds and achieve the same weight reduction of course

As said on this forum a few hundred times, some countries, Australia included, pay well over US$100k for the car, an exhaust at $6 - $7k then doesn't sound so bad (same money asked by Porsche for their sports system on a cayman for example, though with ZERO performance gains quoted). I guess if I was asked to pay that much money for a system for my US$40k V8 Holden Utility.... I just wouldn't, simple as that.
