That's what my SA in Calgary told me. BMW in BC comes with standard alarm system which includes the motion detector.
He told me the worth of the system is around $700 which I think covers little bit of PST if you would think that way.
This is not confirmed with any BC SA, so if you would, please do so and let me know.
