The local autobarn carries royal purple 5w30, was thinking of giving it go...is it worth the $10 extra over the 300v?

Motul say to use 6100 when using E85.
E85 finds its way into the oil and will break it down super quick, we had a Nissan GTR with a dry sump system running E85 you could smell the E85 in the oil at the oil tank, it would burn your eyes and this is after only 2hours running.
