If you are looking for a daily driver check out the Focus RS. You either love it or it is a bit of a compromise. I love mine. Feels so different than the 1M. You can get a new 2017 for mid 30's in warmer climates. Manual only. Made in Germany.

Those are great little cars!
However, I've got my heart set on a 05-06 Interlagos Blue e46 M3 if I'm going to spend in the $30K range. I may consider a SMG swap.....as its extremely difficult to find a good low mileage 6 speed MT one. But, Geez! There are tons of SMG's out there
