Yeah... I feel the same way about Switzerland. Very nice country but way too costly to sleep or eat in. And they are really crazy about speeding.
That's why I was thinking of driving thru France with a little detour thru Italy's Western edge.
The tour date is not set in stone. I just feeling everyone out for a "date" and "place". What weekend would work for you? You could always join us for our small "pre-tour" starting from the Mummelsee in the Black Forrest - Alpine Strasse. We are thinking of also stopping in Mulhouse(France) to visit the Schlumph Collection/Auto Museum.
