no I'm in a e82. the mounting on top of the strut towers is reason enough to upgrade.
the mounting in the centre isn't that bad the two bars around where they bolt in are angled up so that as you tighten the bolt it preloads the bar. probably why the torque spec is 100Nm. To be honest I'm not sure how much benifit the m3 mounting in the centre provides.
