Southlight, are you thinking that protrusion on the undercarriage might be the "proper LSD"? Does it appear the same on the e9x M3's?
Also.. would you happen to have high enough resolution to see the tire sizes? I'm guessing 245/35/19F and 275/30/19R fitment, from the looks of those Pilot Sport 2's...
