You can fit a stubby screw driver on top of the coupler and pop the tab after feeling it out a bit. On the N54 they meet up at the top, you can refer to the driver side tab for an idea of the alignment

After i took out the stock intercooler, i can see the stock tubing from looking down the engine bay from above, but those tubings are still hard to access. Do i have to take out the front bumper and fan to get that screwdriver in from above?
