I think it is a fantastic compromise if you need a comfortable DD but still want something fun to drive. When I bought it that is exactly what I wanted and traded in my S2000 for it. Now that I have it as a good DD though, I miss having a raw, proper drivers car. The S2000 was the softest car I had ever owned before the 1er though, so that may be why it feels so disconnected to me.
