Perhaps a nice canadian forum member can try to buy a single tail light from their dealer and ship to you if schmiedmann doesn't sell them individually?
Or sadly, you may be forced to buy a new pair from them, then try to sell that extra left side one here or on ebay as someone may have an accident or damage one of theirs and need only one new one as well. At least then you could maybe recoup half the money down the road.
