Since it appears you live in California, you should be covered. Sadly the SULEV warranty isn't valid in all states. I live in Arizona and already had to pay for one of my repairs that would have been covered if I lived in an SULEV state, or if my car was a different year. There is a document attached to the original post that shows the model year along with the state to determine if you are covered. |
I read In a different forum that BMW will honor the warrantee in all states as part of federal fuel economy and emissions regulations. But in states other than Cali you have to request it and possibly demand it since the state doesn't enforce it. I haven't needed to verify this yet, thankfully.
