BMW just confirmed that if your 09 is at the dealer, ready for pickup, there should be no reason for delivery delay. Delivery delays, if any, will occur at the US prep center not at the dealer. That's their response.

I have a pic of my window sticker and a 3 1/2 hour drive for pickup, I'd better not be turned away.
