Buddy from the car club (BMW Car Club of BC) brought out his brand-spankin' new (<1000km) Valencia Orange 1M Coupe to our annual German Car Fest (hosted by the local BMW, Porsche and Mercedes clubs).
Some shots of my M3 snuck in there, hope you guys don't mind :-)
Equipment was Canon 50D, Canon 24-70mm f/2.8L USM, B+W Circular Polarizer, mostly shot at f/8 - f/10. Location was Waterfront Park, North Vancouver, BC, Canada.
The owner (left) had to do this a lot throughout the day, showing the car to people ooh-ing and ahh-ing over the 1M. Out of the 100-odd BMWs, Porsches and Mercedes (and a handful of Audis and VWs) there, I'm pretty sure that car attracted the most attention, because of the glowing reviews and the supply-and-demand situation....
And then, when most people have gone home, and he pulled it out of the line to take some pictures, no fewer than FIVE photographers were waiting. Here's my shots.
