I bought my first bmw a year and a half ago. The 2011 135i m sport DCT has been nothing but a headache. First a ton a maintenance and then the rod bearings went, 6 months later and new engine the injectors failed and rod bearings went again...

I'm 19k in repairs/parts/labor. It does however now have full bolt ons and a pure stage 1 turbo. I probably have the worst luck of anyone on this forum in terms of cost of maintenance HOWEVER, I love this car. We've been through the trenches together, and now it's a beast. I plan to buy another car in 4-5 years so I can keep this one in the garage, drive it on weekends next to all of the new EVs, and never sell it. I love it
