If you want a real winter tire but don't care about it being studdable, check out the Nokian Hak. RSI. The Nokian WR G2 is also suppose a very good long-wearing, semi-performance winter if that is what you want (and the tread pattern is pretty awesome). The WR G2's are also non-directional, so they can be rotated normally, which is a plus.
So are the Hak 5's only available with studs? I missed that detail. I don't think studs are legal where I am. I might have to go with the Hak Rsi studless you recommended, but they don't have run-flats in my 205/50/17 size, ugh.....which means I could go back to non-run flat Blizzacks available in that size too.

i Wonder which would be better, if I have to go non-run-flat? Blizzak or Nokian Hak Rsi?
