The plan is for this to become my dedicated track car. So yes, the wing will serve a purpose.
I will say that I definitely notice a difference in the stability of the car above 100mph with the wing. They are proven to be effective, and I plan to make good use out of it.
As for the R1, it is a 2011, and it's my 6th motorcycle. I've had it a little over 3 years now I believe, and don't plan on ever getting rid of it. I bought it in WA with a little over 3k miles, and it has around 15k now I believe.
It has a BMC Race Filter, Titanium Headers, Coffman Racing Slip on, Giles Tuning Rear Sets, Quick Shifter, XPlaneR1CustomTuning ECU Flash, Braided stainless brake lines, SMOG Block off plates, Airbox Mod and some other things. I use it to commute to work every once in a while, or to cruise with my wife and her Yamaha Bolt. It is an absolute rocket, with somewhere around 200whp. It has definitely changed my opinion of what "Fast" really means.
