I would be questioning the charger as well. I originally bought a cheap 40amp eBay charger and exactly what you have described happened to me. I had to go to Super Cheap the next day and buy a more premium battery and it all went smoothly. If it loses signal at any time during the flash, weather its a cable or low battery it will do exactly what its doing now.
