I found a reverse synchro on Ebay for $200 along with the press fit caps: https://www.ebay.com/itm/BMW-320D-6-...9B7W:rk:5:pf:0
It's specifically for the GS6X45 though which is xdrive. Not sure if there is a difference in the synchros or gears...
$200 for the reverse synchro (assuming that's the issue) + labor is still going to be more money and hassle than just scooping up a used transmission for $800. |

I wouldn't trust that one bit.. especially since it's not the same trans as ours and it's eBay. There's a reason for the x in GS6x45 instead of our GS6-45. Go for it tho lol
