Original engine finally gave up the ghost at around 490rwkw+ doing some logs as I flipped back to E85 tuning. Was hoping to get one last dyno session out of her before dropping in the new donk that has been ready for a while.
Can't complain as she held up for 100,000km of bleeding edge tunes from 3 days old.
New engine is in.
Making a few minor mods at the fabricator before heading back to Advan for a start-up and some time on the dyno do a run-in.

New engine back from the engine builder and dropped in by Cam at Advan.
Complete with all the N54 fancy bits;
VAC stage 3, Schrick HiLifts, Billet PPM Crank, Carillo Rods, CP Pistons, VAC sump baffle, coated bearings, Motiv Closed Deck Block etc.
