Thank you very much for your help guys, replacing the SMC module solved all the fault codes associated with the FRM and the adaptive headlights started working again.
But now I'm stuck at the coding part - while choosing the "process ECU" in NCS Expert there is neither LSMC nor RSMC on the list. Has anyone encountered that problem before? Or is coding that module in 1 series different than in 3 series?
